Most people see napkins as a device to cleanse their hands of grease, crumbs… or greasy crumbs — I see napkins as a canvas for art. Napkinville was born in 2009 out of my desire to create, to make, to draw. What started out as a random sampling of a few napkin doodles has now turned into a website with a random sampling of hundreds of napkin doodles. Some of them are actually aren’t terrible, too!

My name is Travis Jones and I live in Richmond, Virginia, where I spend my days (and nights) working at an advertising agency. When time permits, I doodle on napkins and publish them on the internet. You can connect with me, the brainchild of Napkinville, literally almost anywhere on the interwebs: Tumblr, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook. Not your cup of tea? Well you can at least follow my adorable  cat Doodles on Instagram

Napkinville is also on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for you kids and your social media. I’ve also started to curate all sorts of napkin art on the Napkinville Tumblr — so share your napkin creations with the hashtag #napkinville for a chance to be featured.

Here’s the napkin that started it all (thanks, Subway!):
